Let us introduce you to NAPA Medical Jersey, NAPA medical may be new to the market but Nathan and Paul aren’t new to First Aid, Nathan, a Paramedic, has served the island for 12 years as an Ambulance clinician and Paul, an Emergency Medical Technician, has been working in Ambulances for 10 years. They proudly continue to serve the island in their roles but are embarking on a mission to teach good quality first aid to islanders who, in turn, might just save a life!

NAPA Medical are flexible and are happy to come to your workplace to deliver a course which is approved by Qualsafe Awards, an Awarding Organisation recognised by Ofqual,which means NAPA Medical can offer regulated qualifications to suit your requirements by customising the delivery to you and your colleagues who will be trained by qualified medics who have saved lives and who are passionate about what we do.

NAPA Medical can provide CPR and AED, First Aid at Work, Emergency First aid at Work, including the Paediatric qualifactions and Anaphylaxis qualifications to the pre-hospital care training courses - First Response in Emergency Care Level 3 and 4.

​

It is thought that immediate CPR in a Cardiac Arrest can triple the chances of patient survival! With this in mind, alongside your First Aiders you might consider NAPA Medicals CPR and AED 4 hour sessions for all of your workforce

Our Qualifications

Emergency First Aid at Work

Level  3 Qualification

1 day

This is the entry level for first aid under the Health and Safety at Work.

 

First aid is defined as the 'help given to a sick or injured person until full medical treatment is available'.

 

Effective emergency treatment before professional help arrives can go a long way to reducing the effects of illness and injury and save someone’s life

First Aid at Work

Level  3 Qualification

3 days

This is the highest level of First Aid at Work training for Health andSafety at Work, it is appropriate for large Organisations or highrisk areas.

 

First aid is defined as the 'help given to a sick or injured person until full medical treatment is available'.

Paediatric First Aid at Work

Level 3 Qualification

2 Days

This course fulfils the full requirement of Paediatric First Aid at Work training under the Health and Safety at Work Law for anybody working with children under 5.

​

First aid is defined as the 'help given to a sick or injured person until full medical treatment is available'.

​

This course will give you the confidence you need to treat injured or unwell children in your place of work.

​

We can also undertake a Level 3 Emergency Paediatric First Aid Course.

Paediatric Emergency First Aid at Work

Level 3 Qualification

1 Day

This course fulfils the requirement of Early Years Foundation Stage Requirements and is ideal for: â€‹

​

  • Those who have gained a level 2 or 3 childcare qualification and have entered into an early years setting and wish to be included in the staff to child ratios to comply with the EYFS requirements.

  • Anyone who cares for infants and children, such as parents, guardians, grandparents or those who have an involvement with infants and children, and wants to learn key paediatric first aid skills

First Response in Emergency Care

Level  3 Qualification

5 days

Any event that happens, the possibility for people to become unwell is something which all event providers should think about. Under the Purple Guide the Minimum requirement for this is the entry level to an Ambulance Service – FREC 3.

 

This 5 day is available to any event providers, security agencies, care agencies and individuals who would like to begin a career in the ambulance sector.

 

Students must be 18 or older.

First Response in Emergency Care

Level  4 Qualification

5 days

Being able to deal confidently and competently with casualties is something professionals, event planners and security firms must think about, this course is a secondary qualification to the FREC 3, all learners must be able to demonstrate they have undertaken the FREC 3 course prior to application of this course.

 

This 5 day is available to any event providers, security agencies, care agencies and individuals who want to begin a career in the ambulance sector.

 

Students must be 18 or older.

Annual Refresher Training 

Level  2 Qualification

4 hours

All of NAPA Medical qualifications require an annual update for their qualifications to remain regulated.

 

We can undertake this training for you when your renewal is ready. 

​

We also aspect qualifications taken in other organisations and awarding bodies.

CPR and AED

Level  2 Qualification

4 hours

CPR and the use of an Automated Defibrillator should be the top priority when someone is not breathing.
